THAUROROD To Debut New Song At Slovenia's METALCAMP Festival

July 8, 2011

Finnish/Italian power metallers THAUROROD will perform a brand new track for the first time at the Metalcamp festival in Slovenia next week.

Commented the band: "As a special treat for the old and new fans alike, THAUROROD will premiere a brand new track to be included on the band's second album, set for 2012 release [NoiseArt Records]. The new song entitled 'Ghost In Me' is a fast and melodic song full of emotion. Comparable to the debut album's hit 'Shadows And Rain', the new song will deliver the catchiest of choruses and riffs, driven by an energetic, even aggressive rhythm track and topped with insane solos! Hope you guys are gonna love it."

THAUROROD last year parted ways with vocalist Markku Kuikka and replaced him with former VISION DIVINE singer Michele Luppi.

THAUROROD's debut album, "Upon Haunted Battlefields", was released in Europe on September 24, 2010 via NoiseArt Records and Rock The Nation.

THAUROROD is:

Michele Luppi - Vocals
Emil Pohjalainen - Guitar
Lasse Nyman - Guitar
Pasi Tanskanen - Bass
Emmi Taipale - Keyboard
Joonas Pykl-aho - Drums
